The Georgia Senior State Championship Meet took place December 11th through 13th at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center. In a meet where over 400 swimmers from across the state participated, ABSC's Seniors placed fifth. Leading the charge for the Bulldogs were Mary Descenza Mohler with a first place finish in the 100 Fly, and Amber Juncker with a 3rd place finish in the 1650 Free. On the men's side, Ryan Browning, Alex Dempsey, and Ian Thomsen all scored.

The 2009 ABSC Senior State Team consisted of Ryan Browning, Alex Dempsey, Lucas Freund, Joann Filipov, Hayley Johnson, Amber Juncker, Joyce Lu, Wil Masters, Joey Materne, Caroline McElhannon, Jack McElhannon, Mary Mohler, Ben Schmaltz, Andrew Tang, Ian Thomsen, and Annie Williamson.
