Oconee High graduate, Chad Cown; North Oconee High junior, Amber Juncker; and Prince Avenue senior, Alex Dempsey were recently named to the 2008-2009 Scholastic All-American Swim Team by USA Swimming.

The Scholastic All American team is comprised of high school student-athletes who have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, and have competed in an individual event in a Sectional or National Competition. The award is based on a point system for grades and competition. Qualifying for this honor were 1500 swimmers from across the nation.
