Monday – April 30th 2018.

40 state qualifiers (senior and age group) 15+ Team Records, 9 graduating seniors, 6 full practice groups, 2 straight Northeast Divisional Championships, and 1 awesome team. Truly a team and a season worth celebrating, and we did just that last Monday evening at Athens Academy.

It’s been a monumental year for ABSC as we’ve soared to new heights, achieving new levels of success and team growth like we haven’t had before. But some things stay the same, and as always, we’ve made sure to honor our award winners for all 6 practice groups and say goodbye to our graduating seniors.

We began the evening with our annual slideshow! You can see all of the slideshow pictures here, and thanks to Paige Kennedy for putting it together! If you didn’t know about ABSC’s shutterfly page, be sure to check it out! You can check out pictures from the awards ceremony and from all season long there as well! To find the shutterfly page, go to ABSC’s home page and scroll down. You will see a square box titled “photo gallery” and you can get to the shutterfly from there.

Our award winners, by group, went as follows:

Erin Osborne was this year’s winner of the Paige Wilson Award. The Paige Wilson Award is our most prestigious award. Given each year to a member of the Senior 1 group, as voted upon by the swimmers in the Senior 1 group, this award goes out to a swimmer who exemplifies being a great teammate according to their peers. Congratulations Erin!
